First steps to rebuild the CJ2A Trico vacuum wiper motor.

Remove the frame mounting bracket.
The 2 outermost flat-head screws. SF583_takedown-1s.jpg
Don't lose the spacer washers between bracket & motor body!

Remove the felt seal & flat washer from the shaft. SF583_takedown-3s.jpg

Handle is held fast with a pinned set screw. SF583_takedown-5s.jpg

2 flat-head and 4 special screws hold the top cover to body.

Remove the on/off valve screws & cover.

Remove the 4 special screws & 2 flat-head screws. SF583_takedown-11s.jpg
Lift the top cover off. SF583_takedown-12s.jpg
The 2 gaskets are identical. These might be re-useable. SF583_takedown-13s.jpg
Pull the hooked bracket up & lift over the paddle shaft. SF583_takedown-14s.jpg
Lift the padde & shaft out. SF583_takedown-15s.jpg
Unhook the tension spring from the lower rocker bracket. SF583_takedown-16s.jpg
Upper bracket comes out upward.

Pull the 2 brass valves out of their bores.
Keep the felt seals for re-use. SF583_takedown-18s.jpg
Check the valve bores for corrosion/wear, and snug valve fit. SF583_takedown-19s.jpg
